Happy Tuesday y'all!! As always, I am excited about this week's "Tuesday Tips & Tricks" blog post! I absolutely LOVE helping my brides and grooms choose outfits that don't only compliment each other, but look flattering! I'm going to be honest, this particular post is more for my brides than for my grooms. Because, let's face it...a good man wears what his lovely future wife tells him to wear.
1. Dress it up!
You want to look your absolute best for your engagement photos. I recommend a skirt or dress! You can really get creative with this! If you enjoy a more fun, flirty look, maybe you want a tulle skirt with lots of volume. Maybe you are a pencil skirt kind of gal. Maybe, you love a fun, flowy maxi dress! It is your engagement session, so feel free to let your personality shine. There is no such thing as too dressed up for an engagement photoshoot!
2. Neutrals, Neutrals & More Neutrals!
I love love love neutrals. Neutral colors are so easy to pair with other colors. I love a subtle blush pink, light blue or beige. It's classy, simple and very easy to fit into any environment, beach or otherwise.
I am a sucker for a big hat, chunky necklace or flroal heel! Give me all the accessories and some more. And when paired with neutrals, they are the perfect addition to any outfit! Of course, when it comes to accessories, bigger isn't always better. You want to be the focal point of your engagement photoshoot, not your new necklace.
These are my top three guidelines for choosing an outfit for a photoshoot! I hope you find this helpful! Happy Tuesday!
