Y'all, there are no words to describe this adorable couple. Okay, maybe I can come up with a few...
Gorgeous. Vibrant. Vivacious. Adorable. Whimsical. What else? Absolutely perfect! We had the most amazing time together. Of course, I'm speaking for myself, but we genuinely I enjoyed working with Daron and Stephanie. We had so much fun! I had them sneak up on each other, do several, fun prompts, and even pop a bottle of champagne. In case you didn't already know, popping a bottle of champagne is probably my all time favorite thing to do at both engagement sessions and weddings. It's a way of marking the occasion! And it makes for some really fun photos!
This sweet couple met in college about six years ago. It wasn't exactly "love at first sight" the way some relationships begin. Stephanie laughed as she was telling me about their story. Apparently, Stephanie made the first move by wishing Daron a happy birthday via Facebook messenger. Daron proceeded to ignore her for six months, assuming she was a fake account (probably because Stephanie is so dang cute). When he finally responded, his message read something along the lines of "is that your boyfriend in your profile picture?" He's a man of few words, but apparently that was just enough to win her over. And they could not be more perfect for each other. Not only are they beyond photogenic, they have the most adorable vibe of all time. The way that Daron looks at Stephanie requires absolutely no words. You can see and feel the love they have for one another. They are the perfect pair! And so fun to photograph!
I know I say this about all of my couples, but for real this time, I am obsessed! Not only were they super natural in front of the camera (which is pretty rare), they were game for all the weird photography things. When Stephanie first reached out, she immediately started describing a photorapher's dream engagement session. Movement, prompts and super dreamy water pictures! Yes, y'all! They got in the water and it was amazing! Of course, next time, I will be bringing extra towels to make everyone's lives a little easier. But it was magical and completely worth it for the gorgeous photos I was able to capture.
That was all Stephanie wanted; to have beach engagement photos for their save the dates. This sweet couple just happened to be on vacation in St. Augustine with family from just outside of Philly, and they chose me to take their engagement photos while they were in town. I feel so lucky! Even though I will not be photographing their wedding next year, I know it's going to be absolutely perfect, because they are absolutely perfect!
Are you as obsessed with beach photos as I am?
I'd love to hear from y'all! And I am always looking for new photography locations. If you have one to share, send it my way!
