Y'all! My heart is so happy from this engagement session! What was initially a very cloudy, rainy day turned into the ultimate sunset glow, just in time for our engagement session. Yay!
Meet Cody and Faith! This sweet couple was so fun to work with. I know, I say that all the time. BUT, I genuinely love getting to know my couples before their wedding day. It's an opportunity to learn about them and their relationship before you spend the most important day of their lives with them. AND I am beyond excited for their wedding next year. Faith and Cody are saying "I do" at the most lovely church in downtown St. Augustine in July, 2022. I am already excited to get epic church photos on their wedding day. Not to mention all the incredibly gorgeous locations to photograph in the area. If you weren't already sure, downtown St. Augustine is one of my all time favorite locatiosn to photograph. The architecture is incredible! There are gorgeous composition lines and color variety! And there's a sense of whimsy that gives me all the feels! I am already in the process of warning them of my excitement for next July.
I met this adorable couple at Guana Stat Park on South A1A for their engagement session.
They walked, danced, splashed and even popped a bottle of champagne! This was Cody's first ever champagne bottle pop and it had Faith and I giggling. I did a little coaching and prompting, but I got lots of winking faces. Poor guy got sprayed in the eye during the initial pop and each attempt after that became more difficult. Despite a little champagne eye spritz, we really had a blast together. Lots of opportunities for laughing, giggling and smiling. This couple is just meant to be! It is always so fun to see the relationships between my couples and Faith and Cody are no different. The way that Cody looks at Faith gives me all the feels. You can see and feel the love between them.
I can't wait to celebrate y'all next year! Congratulations on your engagement you two! AND happy wedding planning! I know it's going to be absolutely gorgeous, even if it is a labor of love!
